Michael has worked at the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology (CDE) in South Africa since 1996. As Head of Education and Media and Publishing, Michael has developed, managed and facilitated the delivery of many diabetes courses to health professionals and people with diabetes and participated in the clinical aspects of the administration of over 200 CDE Centres of Diabetes Excellence nationally.

Michael A. Olamoyegun is a Physician, Endocrinologist, Epidemiologist & Pharmacologist who is currently a university lecturer and a consultant physician/endocrinologist & diabetologist where he is currently the head, Department of Medicine at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) & LAUTECH Teaching Hospital (LTH) both in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Dr Olubiyi Adesina is an endocrinologist, a former columnist at the Sunday Sun newspaper and the Chairman of the Diabetes Association of Nigeria (Ogun State Chapter).

Simiso Ntuli heads the only Podiatry Department in Africa, at the University of Johannesburg, and practices podiatry part-time. 

Olufemi Fasanmade is a Professor in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is also the Unit Head of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism division at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and recently completed a 4-year tenure as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of LUTH.

Dr. Ronald Kelechi Ikpe (Dr. Ron) is a physician and an entrepreneurial healthcare professional with broad range expertise gained from research, clinical services, communications, event management, and health marketing.

Dr. Felicia Anumah graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) College of Medicine from University of Sokoto, Sokoto and a Fellow of the Medical College in Physicians Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College in Internal Medicine (Endocrinology Subspecialty) FMCP, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

Dr Afokoghene Isiavwe is an Endocrinologist & Diabetologist, with over 26 years’ experience in the medical field. She is the founding partner of Rainbow Specialist Medical Centre Lagos, a multi-specialty private hospital and a referral centre for diabetes and endocrinology.

Dr Toseef Din is the CEO of MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. She is an accomplished management professional with extensive experience of over 16 years, 9 years of which are in healthcare management at the MP Shah Hospital.

Nadia runs a private podiatry practice near Johannesburg, South Africa<br /> since 2012. She obtained both her B. Tech. Podiatry (2011) and M. Tech.<br /> Podiatry degrees (2019) at the University of Johannesburg. She has an<br /> interest in trauma, surgery, wound healing and diabetology.

Malehlohonolo Tshidi Mbonani is a qualified podiatrist with a B-tech degree from the University of Johannesburg. She has extensive experience in general podiatric care, management of diabetic foot complications and wound care.
