About
Shola is co-founder of BOHEMIAN SMARTLYTICS LIMITED. In this role, he is responsible for all BSL’s product, service, and support offerings across the GLOBE, leading the company’s development of bespoke disruptive solutions and platforms.
Prior to co-founding BSL, Shola has been Global President of STATSXPERTS CONSULTING LIMITED a data analytics consulting company with focus on healthcare analytics, including clinical trials. He took STATSXPERTS through a more than 1000% revenue growth within 2 years.
Before founding STATSXPERTS, he has worked in many different pharma and biotech companies including Biomedical statistician and Market Access Analytics Manager for Janssen pharmaceuticals Belgium, Global Lead clinical research statistics for SIRTEX, Germany and Principal Statistician at Mundipharma Research United Kingdom. Also, he was Director of planning, research, and statistics at medical laboratory science council of Nigeria where he left an indelible mark of change. Before venturing into industry Shola spent 8 years teaching and researching at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria.
Shola is a graduate of University of Ibadan, Nigeria (BSc.), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria (MSc). He proceeded to KUL, Leuven, for predoctoral studies and University of Westminster for a PhD which he defended in 2009 and was awarded the first runner up “best body of research leading to a PhD in operations research and statistics in UK Universities. He is married with 5 children, and loves playing table tennis, travelling with his family, enjoys good food and cognac.
