Daniel is an award-winning diabetes advocate, podcast host and producer who has been living with Type 1 diabetes since 1996. He is the host of The Talking Type 1 podcast, where he interviews people in the diabetes community from all over the world sharing their personal journeys of life with Type 1 diabetes. Daniel served as a patient representative on the committee that recently updated the NICE guidelines regarding access to glucose sensor diabetes technology. He was also part of The Diabetes Football Community, who received the unsung hero QiC award in 2022. Daniel was previously the HR and Volunteer Manager at JDRF, The Type 1 Diabetes Medical Research charity. The Talking Type 1 podcast is available on all major podcast platforms.
