About

Victor is a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes, Clinical lead for Kent and Medway diabetes ICB, Clinical director for specialist medicine at Medway NHS Trust until 2023, and previously the Clinical Lead for Endocrinology and Diabetes at Medway NHS Trust.

His specialist interests include all aspects of Endocrinology and Diabetes, namely: thyroid disorders; pituitary endocrinology; parathyroid and metabolic bone disease; adrenal disorders; reproductive endocrinology; obesity; Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and insulin pump treatment.

Victor co-developed the Medway Adrenal Service and Chaired the Medway Adrenal MDT, he is also chair at the Kent ICB Integrated Delivery network.

He has been involved in several Local and multi-centre research projects and has had several publications in the field of endocrinology and diabetes.

Aside from his clinical work, he is involved in medical education and training. He is a Postgraduate PACES examiner for Royal College of Physicians UK. Outside medicine, he is a Medico-legal expert and also a DVLA group 2 licence assessor.

Victor trained in diabetes and endocrinology in London and South East Thames, mainly at Kings College London, where he also completed an MSc in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Before working at Medway, he was a consultant at Nottingham University Hospital, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Lewisham University Hospital NHS trust.
