Ritwika is a Consultant in Diabetes and Metabolism at Barts Health NHS Trust and the firm lead for medical undergraduate students. She is funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) UCLH Biomedical Research Centre. She is the sub-investigator for several randomised controlled trials at the Centre for Obesity Research, University College London. She is a SCOPE-certified professional by the World Obesity Federation. She is a content editor for ‘You and Your Hormones’ and has created videos with Bioscientifica to address weight stigma. She is a member of the Metabolic and Obesity Working Group (Society for Endocrinology). She was awarded a Topol Digital Fellowship by Health Education England. She is undertaking her MD (Res) at Queen Mary University of London. Ritwika is interested in cardiometabolic health, precision medicine, digital health, medical education and addressing health inequalities.
