About

Chris has been a Consultant Diabetologist at King’s since 2016. But even while undertaking his specialist training, he has been involved in several service improvement projects within the South East London (SEL) area, as well as setting up new foot care pathways. He has developed research interest in diabetes related peripheral arterial disease and is also undertaking a post doctorate degree on vascular risk stratification of people presenting with diabetes and foot complications.

He has been proactive in the setting up and running of the South East London Multidisciplinary Diabetes Foot Team Network, and he is the Clinical Lead for their Amputation Root Cause Analysis.

Being of a BAME background, as well as living and working in SEL, Chris has developed a personal affection for rectifying the inequalities in care for people living with diabetes and is passionate about improving care for people living with diabetes and foot complications.
