About

Adamma Okwu is a diabetes specialist nurse and an independent nurse prescriber who works with Diabetes Integrated Care Ealing. Adamma worked with the Hillingdon Diabetes team before moving over to Ealing in 2014. Prior to being a diabetes nurse-she worked with the community district nurse team and as a part-time practice nurse. Adamma holds a MSc in Diabetes from University of Leicester. Since joining the DICE team, Adamma played a major part in developing the Saluja Model which is used as a model in managing and improving diabetes care in Ealing community. 

Adamma has a passion for diabetes and is involved in facilitating diabetes training and education for GPs, practice nurses, clinical pharmacist, medical students as part of role as a DSN.
