Diabetes Africa events offer high-value content for specialists and a wider audience interested in diabetes care, at a time when face-to-face interactions are more difficult. Our events bring together healthcare professionals, business executives, national and international decision-makers and experts, to discuss innovation and good practices. Our events help address healthcare challenges where it matters most.

In 2020, our events covered topics such as: the impact of COVID-19 on routine diabetes care, telemedicine, podiatry, data gathering and community support. Subjects are inspired by the activities in Diabetes Africa’s chambers and faculties and reviewed on a regular basis, with input from members and partners.

Supported by Novo Nordisk, we hosted a series of events in June 2021 to explore and discuss clinical practice and research on diabetes and people of African and Caribbean origin. Organised in partnership with our UK Expert Network.

The discussion session is interactive and includes regular polls and Q&A, which give participants an opportunity to share their own experience.
